Instruments: Violin, Viola:

Senior Division (Ages 14–18 as of September 1st, 2026) – Competitive

Maximum Time: 12 minutes

• Two movements from a work by Johann Sebastian Bach, a movement of a concerto is acceptable.
• One contrasting piece of the participant’s choice from any other musical period

Note: Violists may select from either the Cello Suites or the Violin Sonatas and Partitas. 

Instrument: CELLO 

Competitive: age 14 to high school senior as of September 1st, 2026, 12 minutes maximum time limit:

• Prelude and one other movement from suites 2 - 6. The Fugue of the 5th suite would count as a second movement. Scordatura not necessary.
• Additional piece of contestant choice from different time period, unaccompanied.
