Piano Senior Division (Ages 14–18, as of September 21, 2026)

Maximum performance time: 12 minutes.

Non-refundable registration fee: $100

All performances must omit repeats.

Each participant is required to perform two pieces: one by Johann Sebastian Bach (see choices below), and one piece of their choice from a different period.

• Johann Sebastian Bach. Choose one of the following options:

A Prelude and Fugue from The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book I or II.

Two movements from a French Suite, one of which must be an Allemande.

Two movements from an English Suite, one of which must be the Prelude

The opening movement of a Partita or Toccata (excluding the Partita in B-flat Major).

If selecting the Partita in B-flat Major, the Prelude AND the Gigue are required

Two contrasting selections from the Sinfonias.

One of the Fantasies: BWV 906, 917, or 919

Italian Concerto, 1st or 3rd movement

• One contrasting piece of the participant’s choice from any other musical period.
