Senior Division (Ages 14–18, as of January 1, 2026)

Maximum performance time: 15 minutes.

All performances must omit repeats.

Each participant is required to perform two pieces: one by Johann Sebastian Bach (see choices below), and one piece of their choice from a different period.

• Johann Sebastian Bach. Choose one of the following options:
• A Prelude and Fugue from The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book I or II.
• Two movements from a French Suite, one of which must be an Allemande.
• Two movements from an English Suite, one of which must be the Prelude
• The opening movement of a Partita or Toccata (excluding the Partita in B-flat Major).
• If selecting the Partita in B-flat Major, the Prelude AND the Gigue are required
• Two contrasting selections from the Sinfonias.
• One of the Fantasies: BWV 906, 917, or 919
• Italian Concerto, 1st or 3rd movement
• One contrasting piece of the participant’s choice from any other musical period.
